The North Norfolk coastal walks from Hunstanton through to Sheringham and Cromer are part of The Peddars Way. The coastline is designated an area of outstanding natural beauty with a variety of different types of scenery ranging from marshland and shingle beaches to sandy beaches and cliff tops.

Within one mile of Cleat House is Sheringham Park, part of the National Trust. It covers a few miles of parkland originally designed by Humphrey Repton in 1812 and considered by him as his most favourite work. The park has stunning displays of Rhododendrons and Azaleas and great coastal and countryside walks and views.
Contrary to what you hear, this area of Norfolk is not ‘flat’. There are also some lovely trails and routes to follow inland, and coast hopper buses and the local North Norfolk steam railway to catch when you are tired.
Your hosts are keen walkers and have a good collection of information booklets and local maps to assist the planning.
Cleat House is also able to provide a packed lunch and flasks of homemade soup.
