Cleat House was originally constructed in 1902 for a wealthy London family and it still retains much of its original character with many features such as Victorian fireplaces in the bedrooms.

Your hosts, Robert and Linda Ownsworth, recently moved to Cleat House so that Linda could fulfill a lasting ambition to offer relaxing, quality and homely bed and breakfast accommodation.
Bedrooms are spacious, furnished with comfort and luxury in mind and all have ensuite or private bathrooms; All of the rooms are spacious and have comfortable armchairs or a leather sofa. A separate guest sitting room has been equipped with some of those little extras that are needed when you are away from home including internet access and a fridge. |
There is a lovely S.W. facing, landscaped patio-styled garden equipped with individual tables and chairs for guests to relax in after a busy day and we are happy for you to bring your own aperitifs if you wish. We offer complementary afternoon tea on arrival and this is often served in the garden –weather permitting.
